Very friendly people, nice atmosphere, the Philly cheesesteak was delicious, and I'm a bit of a connoisseur, being that I've been to Pennsylvania and have eaten quite a few cheesesteaks! The Smokehouse burger was good, also. Sweet potato fries and onion rings on the side. My husband and I enjoyed it. (we split entrées) For dessert we're trying the strawberry shortcake and the chocolate cake, both of which were delicious, the strawberry shortcake was made with angel food cake, excellent! Wow, the chef came out to greet us, and to see if we liked our meals!

Just finished a fantastic meal at The Pines. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area! I ordered the chicken fried steak. The breading was delicious, the mashed red potatoes were perfect, and the broccoli was not cooked to mush like most restaurants. Steamed perfectly. The country gravy had a unique and great flavor. Husband ordered the Dragon Burger and oh. my. Heaven on a bun! We both tasted it and declared it the best jalapeño burger either of us has ever had! The cream cheese and jalapeño mixture was perfect! Can't wait to come back and try more menu items!

We met our friends here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Service was excellent. Kind of a down homey kind of a feel to the place. Started off with a Salad had the Atwood ranch dressing. Great salad bar fresh ingredients nice choices. Wifey had the chicken taco salad it was excellent. Mother in law had the fish n chips with the frips sort of a homemade potato chip. She said the fish was excellent the frips so so. I had the bacon blue cheese burger with the frips. Burger was excellent could had used a lil more blue cheese though.

AWESOME little restaurant! I LOVE finding little places like this! I had the hula burger and frips (fries/chips like at the fair) and my husband had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes ALL of it was AMAZING! The service was great and friendly too. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in randomly off I-15. What a pleasant surprise! My two sons and I all had burgers, which were juicy and tasty. One son and I had the frips, which are potatoes that are thinly sliced in the kitchen and cooked like fries. Delicious! Other son had onion rings, which were also delicious. My wife had soup and salad with "pine scones" - that's what the menu called them, but what came was closer to a scone-shaped doughnut. Still yummy. Dessert was peach-berry cobbler, an excellent ending to the meal.

Great little restaurant we found on way to West Yellowstone! My dad and husband both had the bacon cheeseburger which my dad said was the best bacon he's had and my dad can be picky! The frips (fried chips) were awesome, like the ones u find at the fair. Our waitress suggested the fry sauce which my hubby and the kids ate up. The boss hog was what my mom had along with sweet potato fries. Normally she only eats half a sandwich but almost ate the whole thing it was that good! She let me try the sweet potato fries and they were the best I have had. If u are passing thru on the 15, definitely make a stop!!

Free wifi, great food, and friendly staff. I had the Santa Fe chicken sandwich which was just the right amount of spicy. The fritters are really good too.

Good food with a country diner feel. I was happy to find a fresh salad bar to fill up on before I devoured the Hound Dog Burger. My boyfriend was so happy with his steak and eggs for lunch. Really friendly service, great place to stop.

We had a great meal at The Pines! It is under new management and they are amazing. The food is fresh and delicious. We all loved the Pine Scones which resemble fry bread. We also liked the house specialty, Frips - a cross between French fries and chips. We had tomato soup, chicken sandwich, burger, turkey melt, and fish and chips/ Frips. Everyone was happy with their meal. It's location is just next to the highway. Easy on and off the highway if you are driving by

Friendly service, good food standard American food. You need to try the frips. The bill was reasonable as well. It is close to the interstate.

Ew. Went there for lunch. The interior is nice and clean. The server took our drink orders. I ordered a diet Coke. She left and came back a few minutes later and said they don't have any diet soda. Really? You didn't know that your place didn't serve any diet products? Weird. My husband and I got the steak burgers smothered in gravy, onions, swiss cheese, and mushrooms. It was practically flavorless and I had to keep adding salt and pepper. The nasty gravy was from a can. Blech! There were two mushrooms total on it. The side was canned green beans and mashed potatoes from a box which they may have added a few real potatoes to so it would seem more like homemade. It came with an o.k. biscuit with butter and honey. I would not return to this place. At all. It was absolutely not worth the money!
